Hair weaving is woven in the villages of Bozdoğan, Olukbaşı, Kızılcakoy, and Dutağac in Nazilli district of Aydın province and Muratpaşa district of Antalya province. Yoruks and Turkmens who migrated from Central Asia to Anatolia brought their homes with them. Over time, in accordance with the climate of Anatolia, the nomadic house (Topak Ev in Turkish) habit has left its place to Karaçadır/Hair-Woven Tent. Karaçadır is especially preferred because it is easy to install, provides air circulation, and is waterproof because the goat hair material swells after getting wet in the rain, and protects it from various insects and snakes. Today, Karaçadır is used for various activities and purposes such as cafeterias as well as the use of nomads. Hair weaving is a thick fabric woven in sparse texture and plain technique by using goat hair material in warps and wefts. Its most important feature is that it is used as Karaçadır/Hair-Woven Tent material, which is used as home by the nomadic Yoruks and Turkmens in Anatolia. Hair weaving is woven with brown natural wool and black natural wool color. There is no pattern in old weavings. In the new ones, white (natural wool color) and striped patterns are used. Karaçadır / Hair-Woven Tent / Rag Tent, kılcar (trousers produced using this material) are made from this weaving.
